报告人简介:

Prof. Dr. Michel Armand received his Ph.D. in physics from University Joseph Fourier Fracne (1978). He was Director for research at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, France) since 1989 and professor at University of Montreal (1995-2004). He has ushered theoretical concepts leading to practical applications in energy-related electrochemistry. He has been one of the pioneers of the use of intercalation electrodes (1972), of the introduction of the polymer electrolytes for battery application (1978), of new salts based on delocalized anions, of the sulfonimide family (1986), of organic electrode materials (1996) and of the carbon coating for electrode materials like LiFePO4. He joined CIC Energigune as group leader in 2013, and present activities include new solvating polymers for lithium and sodium, new salts and nitrogen-containing electrode materials; Michel Armand has been an author for > 425 publications, has a H factor of 67 and his work has been quoted > 45000 times.

报告摘要:

Energy density and safety considerations converge to suggest the passage to solid-state batteries with the possible use of metallic lithium. Polymers electrolytes have already been shown to allow long cycle life with a Li+ electrodes (Blue-Solutions), but they suffer from low conductivity at RT and low fraction of the current actually carried by the Li+ cations (T+). In this presentation, we will discuss new polymer architectures keeping the high solvation ability of EO segments. As these polymers still suffer from low T+, new salts with a reduced diffusivity of the anions have been designed and studied, including in experimental cells.
